Through the use of domestic biogas digesters’ market and non-market benefits, we implemented a pilot project with assistance from the UNDP GEF SGP with the goal of reducing the effects of climate change and enhancing the livelihoods and quality of life of rural and peri-urban families. This project was codenamed “RYPEI Biogas Project” and aimed to increase households’ access to renewable, reasonably priced, and environmentally friendly energy sources.
